About The Chain O'Lakes Chorus
On September 24, 1958, a group of 6 Whitley County men met at the Elks Lodge to begin what is now the Columbia City Chapter of SPEBSQSA. The Chorus has been meeting continuously since then and meets each Tuesday evening at 7 P.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church, corner of Main and North Street, Columbia City.
The name of the Chorus was changed in 1963 to The Chain-O-Lakes Chorus and is known by that name today.
With 30 plus members today, the Chorus is as vibrant as it has ever been and is one of the most sought after entertainment venues in the county. In 2006, the Chorus performed for 22 various groups and organizations throughout Whitley and Kosicusko Counties. We are available for retirement parties, anniversaries, corporate functions, class reunions, or any occasion that needs entertainment. Programs last in duration from 20 minutes to 1 hour available. For information or booking, please call Charles Disbrow @ 260-723-4419
The chorus invites any men that have singing background, church choir, high school choir or previous quartet or chorus experience to come and join us any Tuesday evening. For further information, call Dick Sutton @ 574-834-2571; Jim Geller @ 260-625-4786 or Jerry Frush @ 574-267-8619
